The major goal of this program is to provide financial literacy education to academically under-prepared low-income students at four EOCs and to interested residents in the communities surrounding the EOCs.
To achieve this goal, the following objectives will be targeted:
- Establish a financial literacy program in conjunction with local banking institutions, administrators, and faculty and staff of the EOCs;
- Provide a financial literacy program to EOC students and community residents;
- Utilize a financial literacy education curriculum based on National Standards in Personal Finance.
